After developing clarity about my needs, I implemented a new story in my subconscious mind, resulting in my actions changing. I started the reality I wanted and replayed it in my mind continuously. This technique turned out to be powerful especially after clearing my inner thoughts through counseling. Therapy was a clean slate and I was ready to take on a new view of life. Affirmations are positive statements in the present tense capturing details of your dream and/or desired state of mind. I framed affirmations for all aspects of my life from my career, relationship, self connection, dream home, and vacations.
